Adam's Slang
Occasionally I get lazy and will use more and more mineral slang--as this site develops more and more--there will be more slang.  Below is some terminology:

xl=crystal
xtl=crystal
txtl==tall crystal
xln=crystalline
DT=double terminated
TD=I misspelled and it is still double terminated
mtx=matrix
Pk=Pakistan
MX or Mx=Mexico
Sk=Slovakia
Tj=Tajikistan
spec=specimen
X= This is my abbreviation for mine instead of writing it out--mostly do it on thumbnails!
